Q: |
I have a peice of land with no home on it, can I raffle the land? |

| A: |
There are currently a few people that are thinking about doing raffles of land. I think it is doable but the big question is... Do you think you can market it well enough to sell tickets. In addition can you make the proposition welcoming enough for a non profit to take this on. (You will need to do that in your home profile description on USAHomeRaffle.com)
One other thing to consider is, connecting up with a builder. There are some raffles going on now where the prize being offered is a home to be built. Some people find this is more appealing because they feel as if they will have a hand in some of this decisions that would make up their prize winning dream home. It isnt just a home that is already built. It is one that the winner can customize. That becomes your marketing point.
You would also want to market it with floor plans and pictures of other completed models so that your raffle ticket buyers have an idea or what it is they will be winning. Most builders will have models already and pictures you can use.
