We are not lawyers and therefore do not advise anyone on the legality of raffles in their state.
Each state has their own laws and statutes that outline what must be done in order to conduct a legal raffle.
For example, Maryland law does not allow for raffles to be carried out by homeowners, instead they must be done by a non profit organization (this is also the case with most other states).
USA Home Raffle is based in Maryland, you can find out more information on Maryland rules here: http://www.sos.state.md.us/Charity/Raffles.htm.
For information on other states here is a good place to start http://www.rafflefaq.com/united-states-raffle-laws/
